Use Smaller Plates and Bowels

Reduce Soda Intake

Older adults who drink soda on a regular basis should reduce how much of it they drink or stop drinking it altogether. Drink such as carbonated water and tea are healthy alternatives to soda.


Cooking at home, using smaller plates and bowels, drinking plenty of water, and reducing soda intake can all help seniors achieve a healthy weight and reduce their risk of life-threatening health problems.
